DBT SUPPORTED PG PROGRAMME IN BIOTECHNOLOGY


Programme under DBT-PG Teaching Scheme: M.Sc. Biotechnology
Applications are invited from the GAT-B qualified candidates to apply for the M.Sc. Biotechnology Programme under the DBT-PG Teaching Scheme.

No. of seats under the DBT-supported M.Sc. Biotechnology Programme: 10

Eligibility Criteria: Pass in the Bachelor Degree (with at least 55% marks) in any branch of life sciences (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Agricultural Sciences) or equivalent from any recognized University of National or International repute. Students with Bachelor Degree in B.Tech., Biotechnology, Agriculture / MBBS / Veterinary Science or equivalent, are also eligible.

Guidelines for Students for Admission in DBT supported M.Sc. Biotechnology Programme.

(1) After declaration of Result of GAT-B 2020, candidate wiki download the rank card/score card from I-PCB Faridabad website: https://rcb.res.in

(2) The RCB website will also display the name of participating Universities/Institutes and courses being offered under DBT support and respective elig!bi|ity conditions. (weblink: https.//rcb.res.in).

(3) The rank card/score card holder will visit the concerned University’s/Institute's website for re-confirmation of eligibility conditions of admission.

(4) Eligible candidates will have to fill application form of individual University/Institute as per their guidelines.

(5) After display of admission list by concerned University/Institute, students will contact the respective Program Coordinator of DBT supported PG Course for seeking admission and completing the required formalities.

(6) The issuance of Rank/ Scare Card does not guarantee admission in DBT supported PG Teaching Courses. Confirmation of admission under DBT supported course is subject to fulfillment of required eligibility conditions/criteria set by concerned Universities/Institutes. Department of Biofechnology, GOI does not have any role and responsibility in admission process after declaration of GAT-B Result.

(7) Any further update/information about admission process will be displayed on DBT website (dbtindia.gov.in/) and RCB website (rcb.res.in).
